Frequently Asked Questions

Carne Mare at 89 South Street at Pier 17 (behind the Tin Building) on June 6th from 7:00 PM–10:00 PM. Please arrive promptly at 7:00 PM to avoid delaying the event.

Carne Mare is on Pier 17, behind the Tin Building, in the Seaport. Cars are not allowed to drive up to the door, so please plan for a short ~1-minute walk from the adjacent sidewalk, down the pier, and past the Tin Building.

By car / rideshare

• Use 89 South Street, New York, NY 10038 as your destination.
• Ask to be dropped off near the Seaport / Tin Building / Pier 17 entrance area.
• From there, walk down the pier to Carne Mare (cars cannot pull up to the restaurant entrance).

By public transit

• Take the subway to the Fulton Street area (several lines stop nearby).
• Walk east toward the Seaport / Pier 17 and continue past the Tin Building.
• Please allow a few extra minutes if it’s your first time navigating the Seaport.

There is no on-site parking, and street parking is limited. We recommend the SpotHero app to book nearby parking garages at low rates.

While we unfortunately can't invite all of our friends and loved ones, we did our best to include those that matter the most. Please refer to your invitation for specific invitees to the dinner.

Given the smaller capacity, we've had to make difficult choices to be surrounded by those that matter most. Please refrain from any unapproved plus 1's, as they may be turned away from the venue.

Parents — please understand that this is a child-free event.

We request formal, cocktail attire for the reception dinner.

No — instead, a small, private wedding ceremony will be held prior to this event. We look forward to meeting you all on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM to celebrate our marriage over delicious food and drink at Carne Mare.

We kindly ask everyone to arrive on time. Late arrivals may disrupt the event and dinner service, so please plan ahead for traffic, parking, and the short walk onto Pier 17.

Yes — please look for your seating card when you arrive at the venue. Once you've found your place, please scan the QR code at your table for more information on the event and how we can all make it special.

And of course, feel free to visit other tables, grab your reception favors, visit the bar, or take a walk on Pier 17 just outside.
